Laptop Window Key Work Around?

I have a question: Will I be able to take my laptop hard drive and pug it into my system, reset the windows to factory and migrate the windows to my ssd? Since laptop windows key are located in the window bios there is no way to obtain the physical and this way i can get windows that i already own. My question is will it work?


Laptop hard drive w/ windows =====> into my main system ======> migrate copy of hard drive to ssd====>continue using windows on my ssd/reset to factory condition on my ssd/// Will it work from there or will i need to type in my key when i reset it. Windows says that i wont need to since the key is already integrated into the bios and will automatically enter into when i reset.

No. It won't work. The copy of Windows you have is tied to your laptop and cannot be moved to a new system.
