Laptop with 128 GB DDR5 RAM

For my new laptop, I want to be future-proof. So thinking of 128 GB DDR5 RAM Laptop.

Are they available in the market, or any expectation of when they will be available? I will prefer cheaper custom-assembled brands like Clevo.

If you really want 128GBs of DDR5 in a laptop, these boutique shops will eventually get it. Just keep checking or maybe even shoot them an email inquiring.

Without going into too much details, my work require lot of RAM. My current RAM usage right now is 43GB /64GB already.

Yeah, DDR5 is still making headway onto laptop boards. You'll just need to keep checking. I haven't seen 128GBs yet.

I see this German reseller with DDR5 laptops but sadly they are limited to 64 GB for now.

I contacted them. They said they have no idea about 128 GB DDR5 laptops.

Most laptops only have 2 slots, if they have any, and I've yet to see 64GB SO-DIMM modules available. And what 64GB modules are available period are for servers.

So until we see 64GB SO-DIMM modules, you're not going to see a laptop with 128GB of RAM.
