I currently have a Lenovo Ideapad 3 15ARE05 that I recently had to format and reinstall Windows on due to a faulty Windows update that got stuck. I installed W10 from a USB and then upgraded to W11 but on both OS the system didn't recognize the integrated graphics. I tried installing the drivers directly from AMD but Adrenaline doesn't open it just says that it isn't compatible (even tho their compatibility tool says it is the right version). After that, I tried installing the AMD chipset drivers but it still didn't work. On the other hand device manager just says that Windows stopped this device (Display adapter - AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics) because it reported problems.

I read somewhere that it could be an option on the BIOS but I only see the option to allocate more VRAM to the integrated graphics. At this point, I want to try to update the BIOS but on the Lenovo page, it says the .exe they have is for W10 and I'm a bit afraid of messing with the BIOS after all I had to try to fix the laptop before formatting it.
I did set the BIOS to default settings before reinstalling Windows but I'm not sure that can break the whole APU.
Any help is welcome as I'm not sure what to do next and I really need to connect a 2nd monitor to my laptop.

Try reinstalling Win10 and using the Lenovo certified driver packs first (then the Lenovo Vantage app‘s update feature). Lenovo and other laptops can be weird like that in only supporting the vendor display drivers.

EDIT: you could also try updating your Win11 installation using Lenovo Vantage. You might get lucky with it pulling the correct display driver from the Lenovo servers.

In the end, I updated the BIOS and it solved everything LOL. The Laptop even boots super fast now. Thanks anyway for the reply. I wanted to leave this comment here in case anyone has the same issue.
