[SOLVED] Laptop without displayport port and only 120Hz

Hello. I recently just bought a new gaming Monitor 'ASUS VG248QG (24'' - 165Hz - 0.5 ms - G-Sync)', and I think it's pretty good. However, I'm actually not very well informed on this specific area, and I still bought it even though my laptop doesn't have a DisplayPort entry, only HDMI.

So I can only get 120Hz on my monitor, and obviously no G-Sync. Is there a way that I can make the monitor work with the 165Hz and G-Sync? Any cable or adaptor that ACTUALLY works?

My pc is the 'ASUS X571GT i7-9750H' if it helps.

Thank you for your time.

P:S: Sorry if I mispelled something, english is not my first language.

Gsync requires Displayport to work or at least usbc 3.1 gen 2. Hdmi is best it can do unfortunately. Could maybe try custom resolution utility to get 144Hz as Asus claims the monitor is capable of doing via Hdmi.

120Hz is still very good.
