[SOLVED] Laptop won’t POST

Hi everyone,

I recently decided to upgrade the cpu on my laptop to an i3-4000m. Although after I did this the pc turns on quickly off. I took out the cpu and ran the pc without my cpu and it stays on but displays nothing. Is my cpu toast?

Toast or not supported by the bios. Just because it uses the same socket doesn't mean the bios knows what do do with it.
