I have an HP Envy 15t j000 laptop.
i7 4702mq proc. and 12 gb ram.
Yesterday while I was applying thermal compound to the processor and the gpu, I accidentally took out the processor(It had a lot of pins on it and looked like processor to me).But then I simply put it back at its place and reassembled the laptop.
Now the laptop won't boot. Not even into BIOS.
All I see is a blank screen(not even backlit).
The cpu fan is spinning, sshd is spinning but nothing on screen. Thos would go on for about 15-20 secs and then the laptop would shut down making a grrr.. sound from the speaker.
I have tried changing ram slots, cleaning the processor for dust, discharging cmos battery but nothing worked.
The processor wont heat up after booting without heat sink(I touched it).
Please help me out guys.
P.S. I don't have access to another processor for testing the processor.
