I wanted to replace the HD in my Windows 10 Lenovo Thinkpad with an SSD. I put the boot HD and the new SSD into another computer to clone with EaseUS ToDo Backup. That seemed to work. But when I put the SSD in the laptop, it asked which drive to boot from. The first item was the new Kingston SSD, but it would not boot from that. I put the HD back in and I get the message:
"Recovery. Your pc/device needs to be repaired. The boot configuration data for your PC is missing or contains errors. file:\boot\BCD. You'll need recovery tools ... " (which I don't have). How can I fix this?
