Laptop wont connect to Internet

Windows 8 computer no longer contects to internet and when I go to PC Settings wifi is disabled as off and cant be changed.


Help?

What model laptop is it? It may have just been turned off accidentally.

If there isn't a physical button or "switch" on the side of the laptop somewhere, you may have a function key to turn it on/off.

Looks like that.

If that does nothing, your WiFi card cable may have come disconnected on the inside. That's something you'll have to take the laptop apart to reconnect.

Check to see the driver is up to date as well.

is your wireless adapter enabled? Go to your Network Adapters page and see if it is enabled. If disabled, enable it.
