laptop won't connect to 'net on starting

Laptop won't connect to the 'net when first started. It has to be re-started then will connect. Don't have any problem with the desktop PC.

Hi,

Do you connect to the internet wireless? If you do there should be a check box under the wireless network name before you connect that should say Connect automatically. Once you've put a check on it click Connect. Reboot your laptop and see if the same problem will persist.If these doesn't work do try these steps.
- Right click on wireless network name and select Properties.
- Put a check on Connect automatically when this network is in range then click OK.

Do you have to restart your pc all the time? if yes then you need to check power settings. there might be issue with the power settings that is why you are having such kind of problem with your laptop.
