Hi everyone.

I have a laptop that I sometimes connect to a large TV that has HDMI ports on it.

Lately though, I haven't been able to get what's displayed on this laptop to mirror to the TV with the HDMI ports. The TV used to be detected as a display, but no longer.

The hardware and connections seem okay; I think it's probably a software issue and not a hardware issue since I'm able to mirror the display when I connect a separate laptop to the TV via an HDMI cable.

Has anyone experienced and solved this problem before? If so, how did you fix it?

Thank you.

P.S. The laptop in question uses Windows 10 if that helps.

Solution
Check both HDMI ports (laptop and TV) and make sure they aren't damaged.
Use a different port or another HDMI cable.
Connect the Laptop to another TV and see if it works.
Connect another device to the HDMI port in the TV and see if it works.

Try resetting the TV to default settings.
