laptop wont connect to tv

am tryin to connect ma laptop to 50inch Samsung tv with hdmi, computer reconizes screen bt still says no signal it work on my 32inch tv tried all 4 port plus tried different cable incase cable wosnt working properly can anyone help plz ??

Are you using windows 7?

press start+p then the screen will pop out and you can choose if you want to dublicate, extend, projector only or computer only

ive done that still wont work it used 2 wrk but wont wrk at all now jst keeps saying no signal

try checking the cable, if it doesn't help then go to your tv properties and check the config of your connection type, if that wont help then try to configure your graphycs card control center so you can see if the pc is detecting the tv, if it deetects then you simply configure to multiple displays in display config.
