laptop wont connect to wifi, doesn't even show any networks

My laptop wont connect to wifi, nor will it even show any networks, I have tried to setup wireless driver but it does't let me do that. It seems as it starts setup and then it just disappears.

On some notebooks, there is a hardware key to press that turns on the Wi-Fi.

In some cases, the Wi-Fi just wears out on the notebook, and best solution is to get a USB WiFi adapter to bypass the issue.
