Laptop won't go to sleep

Laptop has Windows 10 and will go to sleep when I close the laptop, but I want to play music/tv shows/movies on it while I go to sleep & have the laptop itself go to sleep as well after it hits the inactivity time limit I have set. However, it won't go to sleep when Windows Media Player is playing

How do I let it go to sleep when Windows Media Player is being used?

I Googled this issue and saw that if I ran cmd prompt & typed in "powercfg -requests" that it would show what's keeping my laptop from going to sleep. I did that while Windows Media Player is running and this is what it showed:

Hello scuba steve

Can you please try this:

> In the Cortana search box, type Power Options and press Enter.

> From the right pane of the opened Power Options window, click the Change plan settings link for the currently active power plan.

> From the box that opens up, click Change advanced power settings.

> From the Power Options box, from the displayed list of options, locate and expand Multimedia settings > When sharing media.

> Change the values for both On battery and Plugged in to Allow the computer to sleep.

> Click OK to save changes and restart the computer.

Check if the computer goes to sleep when Windows Media Player is playing files.
