Laptop won't go wireless.

I'm from the states and am visiting a foreign country. My laptop will not connect to wifi it says "unable to connect" and troubleshooting does nothing. I'm using the correct passcode. My smartphone joined just fine.

Antenna turn on? Didnt flick the hardware wifi switch by any chance?
