Laptop won't project

So, my laptop had been broken for years now. The screen was demolished and wouldn't work. It would only show white. Nothing else. So I fixed this by using my TV as an external monitor. That worked for a while. But then, all of the sudden, my computer froze. So I decided to fix this by turning it off and turning it on again, as this had morked multiple times in the past. But now, my laptop screen will show white, and it will not project onto the TV. Everything else works, it just refuses to project onto my TV. Please help.

Sounds like you may have gotten an update that changed the driver, or the GPU went bad. Try connecting to an actual monitor and see if it will work.
