I just got the lenovo legion Y530, the laptop came with freeDOS and i'm trying to install windows on it through a usb drive. When I go into BIOS the laptop won't recognize my USB drive and i cannot select it as the bootable drive. I've tried toying with the BIOS settings but to no avail.
What should the optimal BIOS settings look like in order for it to work?
Thanks in advance.
Edit: I have mistakenly created this thread in the wrong subforum so I'm sorry about that

What BIOS settings have you toyed with, exactly?

For bootable Windows 10 media, make sure to use Microsoft's Media Creation tool (no need to use Rufus or the like), have Secure Boot disabled in the BIOS, and make sure UEFI is enabled.
