Question Laptop won't show anything after RAM upgrade

first of all, the old ram and the new ram is identical, ddr4 2400mhz and 1.2v. when i put the new ram and open it, the power indicator just light up but the screen dont show anything not even the acer logo. i tried to put the old ram back and it works just fine, but when i put the new ram that happens.

my laptop is

acer aspire 3 a311-31

Reset CMOS
Check compatibility, if there is some soldered RAM things can get complicated.
