[SOLVED] Laptop's internal speakers dont work but headphones do.

I've been having this issue for quite a time now. I've tried almost every solution from wiggling toothpick in headphones jack to reinstalling drivers but problem remains unsolved. PLEASE HELP!

check in Windows > Control Panel > Sound,
select speakers,
hit "Properties"(should be bottom-right),
and in "Advanced" tab hit "Test"

does a sound play?

Check Device manager and see the state of your Sound, video and game controllers. Right click on speaker icon, right side of the taskbar and make sure sound isn't muted (look for red circle). Also try Control Panel-> Troubleshooters->under Hardware and Sounds->Troubleshoot audio playback.
