Laptop's monitor shows weird colors when in the right position

When my Dell Inspiron 5570's screen comes into the right position, it starts displaying weird colors that intensify in brightness over time. Here's a picture of a black screen with this effect I took:

It is also of note, however, that the screen freezes and displays a still image (with the colors mentioned above) when this happens.
The effect in question can be broken by pushing the screen a little.

So issue is with the connection, take it apart, re-seat the connector. Possibly you will need to replace the video cable.
