Question Laptop's speakers are not working ?

Laptop model: HP Probook X360 435 G8

The laptop's speakers do not work but the headphones port and Bluetooth do.

Apart from reinstalling Windows and taking the cover off, I think I've exhausted all the troubleshooting options regarding settings, drivers and software.

I've read that the sensor of the headphones port could be faulty but I'm wanting to know what are my next steps and what to look for? Has anyone had this experience and did you manage to fix it?
