Large fps drops in games

Hey guys, i have been realising that i am getting frequent and large fps drops in games. for example in pubg,ark and arma 3.
I was just hoping someone could tell me why this is happening?

my build= i7 6700
gtx 1070 g1
8gb of 2400mhz ram

i have tested this and my temps for gpu never go behond 70 degees and cpu never goes above 45 degrees
