Budget Range: approximately $1500-1700 (without monitor/peripherals)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming

Parts to Upgrade: entirely new system

Do you need to buy OS: yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: amazon > newegg

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Parts Preferences: no particular brand preference as long as reliable

Overclocking: unlikely

SLI or Crossfire: no

Your Monitor Resolution: goal is 1440p at >=60Hz

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: my CPU is dead and my rig is old

Thank you for the adjustments! I should have also added that this budget includes a new GPU though. I think the 3600 CPU is as far as I'd go. Do you think a micro B450 board would be alright?

i dont think the RTX 3060 release date was confirmed,or price,but lets say its max 400$.Here is the build then:
