Larger IDE drives this year ?

Are there any rumors of new large IDE drives comming out this year? I am considering buying a system with 4 of Maxtors´ 80GB disks. But i could wait a couple of months if there were a 160GB disk due out soon.

Later this year I have heard 120 gig. The problem with the size is most Hard Drive Mfg. are trying to get out of using multi-platter drives because they are cheaper. When they try to get less platters that have to fit more to 2 or three platters. Maxtor is the taker on size right now with 20 gig per platter on the 80gig (98196H8).

I would stick with the 80's right now cause you kinda would want the larger size drives to stay on the market for a little while so you know of any issues before you decide to buy them ...
