Does anyone have some idea of the largest capacity drive an old Western Digital MyBook WD3200C032-002 enclosure can take?

I got one for free with a very dead (motor doesn't spin) 320 gig WD drive. I connected an old 160 gig SATA drive to it and that worked so the USB to SATA and power board are good.

If it'll take a 1 or 2 terabyte it'd be a good drive to connect to a smart tv, loaded up with tv shows and movies, even though it's only USB 2. That's fast enough to stream 1080p HEVC 10bit.

Given it has external power, I'd be surprised if there's any limitation to it.
The controller PCB may have a limitation, but I'd be surprised.

That unit is USB2 though.... A stand-alone, new 1TB drive would set you back ~$35-40.... A new 1TB external that does not require additional power, runs on USB3.0 etc would cost <$50. Not sure how viable replacing the drive is, given the (very slight) potential for incompatibility...
