Laser Printer feedback requested - what is your opinion?

Greetings,

I need to replace my current inkjet because I don't print very often, so the heads clog and I get maybe 10-20 pages per cartridge...

I am looking at the following laser printers:

Key features: Duplex printing, quality scanner, wifi & direct connect, document feeder (for copy/scan).

Nice to haves: print from Win 10, Mac, and android phones (but mostly Win 10).

I have picked black and white since that is what I print most of the time. But if you have an opinion about color laser printers, I would love to hear it. I picked these based on comments I found in various messages on the forum - but some of the suggested models are now obsolete.

Any feedback on the above (which do you like best) and/or suggestions for other options are appreciated.

As far as reliability I've had great results with both Canon and Brother.

I do agree with @t53186 - Canon, But I prefer MF624Cw, check this product review here http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2495134,00.asp for this color laser printer - Canon Color imageClass MF624Cw. For me it's actually good, it prints, scans, copies and also have an automatic feeder just like your requirements. Canon ImageClass MF624Cw toner cartridges are not that hard to find also, most of them are readily available online.

Thanks for the feedback. 58 lbs for a printer - wow. I was sort of hoping for a duplex printer and am feeling that if I had to choose, I would take duplex over color. I just don't print color that much and can always get a cheap inkjet.

But I need something that will reliably print black and white, even if sitting for a month or two - which my inkjet just can't handle.

we use a canon mf229dw and it has worked out well so far.

we print single + double sided, scan single + double sided and it has served us pretty well. it is hooked up via network cable to the router to which everything connects wirelessly.
