Laser printer problem

I have just bought a Samsung SL-C460FW multifunctional printer.
I have a problem concerning print quality: text (or images) looks clearer in the right side of the sheet. It is clearly noticeable if I print something like a thick coloured line: it gently fades, slightly changing its tint.

Do you have any idea about the possible cause?

Could certainly be a manufacturing issue with the printer, and if you just purchased it, I would suggest you look into an exchange.

That being said, I would double check that the toner cartridge is fully inserted as a possible cause.
