I do still have quite a few parts sets... I've got a couple orders on my
list to fill, so I'll probably make a small batch in the next couple weeks.
Doing some SW/ESB stuff first for now.

Thanks Darin, yes I did get get tracking number on Tuesday (the package is
scheduled for Monday (dang holiday)).

Ok... I hopefully won't damage the bezel....

This is my first real "restoration".... that is, where I've actaully
bothered to put side-art on a machine (I have lots of black cab's where they
were just 2 far gone) and/or the "natural" look (my wife acutally likes
machies that look like they've been played before rather then restored
machines).

If things go as they usually do for me, at least one of the side art pieces
will end up up-side-down...

Thanks,

steve

Clay,

FYI the pricing on your site is screwy... the williams page says $140 and
the order page says $149.

Ah, good catch. The orderform is correct. I raised the price $10 a year or
so ago when I switched over to just just buying parts in small quantities as
needed.

Clay,
Mine is now locked on one game (Robotron) it sits there and wont let you
start or select games. Like the control panel is not there. I've had it
running in one location for a few years now with no problems. I plugged it
in and now I have this problem. Did my widget board die? What do you think
is wrong with it?

I'd say to check the +5VDC supply voltage at the CPU daughterboard just to
make sure that hasn't drifted down over the years. If that's a good solid
~5.1-5.3V or so, I'd try to reenable the menu (the clip from the manual that
Steve posted). If it still doesn't go, I'd say to check the quality of the
connector on the widget board (both the connection from the CPU board as
well as the wiring harness). Make sure that the ground from the control
panel inputs is the same potential as the ground on the widget board. If
the pins on the CPU board connection to the widget board are scraggly
looking (frayed like an old toothbrush and nicked up) I'd replace them with
a new 10x2 header. (Jameco or other places sell them.) If none of that
works, it's possible something fried and it needs repair...

From the manual:
By default, the "Menu System" is the default, but if you choose another game
you will not be able to see the menu on power-up. To get the "Setup" menu
back, you need to set the "Auto/Up" switch on (up position) your game and
reset the machine (Press P1 and P2 start simultaneously). That will enable
the "Setup" menu again. You must select the "EXIT MENU" item to exit this
menu.
