My build is: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/3BFkG

Im going to use it for games, basic editing which may turn into a heavier one but nothing very heavy and the usual stuff. I went for i7 only because the game im playing which is dayz standalone is cpu intensive. Would there be a big difference between the 4770k and 4670k in dayz? Surely a drop when it comes to editing but all i want to do is to record and then cut the videos, add some music to it and do basic graphic design.
Im still not sure because i could save some money and spend it on other things, lets say a faster non-reference gpu (i mean the faster windforce edition or maybe evga or msi).
What would you recommend? Drop to the i5? If yes, where would you put the money in? Im going to buy first components tonight/tomorrow so any advice would be great.
Thanks

What you have is pretty good, it covers both bases really well. If you wanted to shift a bit of the focus to rendering from gaming, you could drop down to the gtx 780 and up the ram to 16gb. For rendering/editing you want the i7, 16gb ram, a decent GPU. For gaming you want an i5 or i7, 8 gb ram, a good/great gpu.

Here is what I would do:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (£221.99 @ Aria PC)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (£25.45 @ Scan.co.uk)
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£109.00 @ Amazon UK)
Memory:...
If you require basic editing on a professionally level, an i7 is nice but an i5 is adequate. If budget allows, stick with the i7.
The graphic card can be overclocked so it wouldn't matter if you getting a factory overclocked gpu.
Note, Z97 motherboard will come out on the 11th May. They offer the possibility of Sata Express, more M2 connectors, Broadwell upgradability

I never knew that one. Are they going to be compatibile with haswell cpu? I only went for asrock one because its decent for overclocking and it has got new realtek codec. Do you know anything about the realtek and prices?

The new Z97s will be 1150 socket so they will work with haswell. I believe the new CPUs are a re-release with a few improvements, should be the i7-4790 and i5-4690, the new cpus will be haswell. Skylake cpus are supposed to come out next year.

Thats the thing, you can wait forever. Next year there will be rumors about new graphics card and so on. So i will ask you a different question. What do you think would be the best and the most suitable pc for dayz standalone and basic editing in the same price as my build listed above?

Changed the PSU because the EVGA supernova wasn't as good quality as the XFX pro, the EVGA Supernova G2 fixed the problems and is great.

If you are playing at 1080p this will take care of any game you throw at it. Honesty, the 780 ti is not really worth the extra performance over the 780 to me.

There is actually a small difference 5-10fps between 780 and 780ti but you save a big chunk of money. Thanks alot for your advice. Dayz standalone doesnt require 780ti and even 780 could be too much for that game and i will be playing dayz most of the time, as i dont fancy other games which seem to be same all same for the past 10years with a little extra. What do you think would be the best build for standalone itself? Do i need to spend 1200-1300 quid to play that game(im not talking about editing now because its not a must, its just something i might do but im rather focusing on gaming)
