Solution
Id also use Win 8 64 bit .
Its simple to add a start button using a free program called Classic Shell .
In return you get a better license and a longer service life . You can also re-use it on another computer while Win 7 is locked to the first mb by the license conditions [ which MS dont always enforce ]
