LastPass Extension causing PC to become unusable

So I have been using Lastpass for probably a year now and never had any problems with it, but when I created a new password today and tried to open the extension to change something, but the tab just wouldn't load and afterwards i noticed my pc slowed down to being almost unusable. The only way I found to fix it is to restart my PC, almost nothing opens after trying to open the lastpass extension. I have checked for virusses with AVG and Malwarebytes, AVG found a trojan in my downloads, but nothing else, MB found nothing and the problem still persists. I was wondering if anyone has had these kind of problems with Lastpass or if anyone knows a way to fix this.

I have used Lastpass for 9 years and never had or heard anything like that.
Have you try removing Lastpass extension or plugin then re-installing it?
