I just bought the LG UM67 ultrawide, I wanted to connect it with Mac mini so I did via HDMI, it was 1080p Max so I was gunna buy a 4K HDMI cable but from my understanding the mini itself only outputs HDMI at 1080p, so I connected mini display port to DVI adapter and used a DVI cable to connect and 1080p again bc you need dual link DVI to use 2k correct? so it is possible to use Mini DisplayPort to display port (built in on monitor) to get 2k? that cord is a lot cheaper than dual link DVI is why I'm wondering
