[SOLVED] Latency Rise

I recently built a gaming pc and it worked great as far as no lag. It is on
a lan connection and it says I was getting 50-70 ping. Which was definitely playable for my game, absolutely no issues. Recently I was playing and out of no where I got 2000 ping. I reset everything but I still get high ping and lag spikes frequently now. I’m curious if anyone has any answers as to how my lan connection could get so bad?

Your need to run tracert and see if you can find where the high latency really starts. It could be something in the internet you can do nothing about.

Generally you can only fix hop 1 (your router) and hop 2 which is the connection to your ISP.
