Latest firmware on Thomson TG585 v7?

I have had this router installed by my ISP 5 years ago and I recently found out that a firmware update would be good,not that I currently have any problems but Its been that long time and I thought It would update Itself but I'm not sure though as I'm currently running 8.6.9.0 and I have no idea how many releases they have been.

Unless you have a problem i would leave aloan

You need a upgrade from your isp not thompson

Thompson will have a number of firmware upgrade versions for usa , europe etc

Your isp will probably have one specificaly for their systems and only require entering your internet user account and password so saving a lot of configuration

Some router modems include the ability to look for upgrades back to manufacturer or isp web site
