Question I dropped a Dell Latitude E5430, now the screen is scrambled showing a non-physical crack ?

Cables, wires and specially screen are very fine and delicate , a crack can be inside and invisible. Yes. just LCD part can be changed only if you can find it but it's not easy and should be left to a professional although it may cost more than laptop is worth.

ThanksI found the assembly and a video on how to do it. Is there something I should be particularly careful abut if attempting? Agree the laptop isn't cost effective to have professionally repaired

Watch for delicate flat cables and their connections/clips. Part that I hate most iz actually opening with all those plastic clips holding things together.
