Hi,
I have kind of a problem here. I'm using Viewsonic VA902b 19" LCD monitor. The suggested resolution by the manufacturer is 1280x1024, however, when I set my resolution in Windows XP to match that, there is slight horizontal flickering/distortion going on. I've tried a different monitor - IBM CRT 15" montior, and set the resolution to 1280x1024 and there is NO flickering/distortion going on, therefore I don't think it's a video card.
Now the monitor works fine at 1024x768 resolution, but as soon as I switch it back to 1280x1024 the flickering/distortion starts.
My adapter settings are at 60Hz, and all cables are connected tightly.
This is what my monitor displays in settings:

Horizontal Frequency: 48.37 Khz
Veritcal Frequency: 60.01 Hz
Pixel Click: 64.51 Mhz

I believe that the monitor is at fault. If so, can someone tell me if it's inverter, or any of the bulbs? Or maybe it's not the monitor and I'm missing something?

I tested all of those:) finally I took it completely apart and found 3 busted capacitors, so now I need to find them and solder them in. Thank for reply:)
