LCD looks good - am I missing anything?

Just bought my first LCD... bought it off of pricewatch for $299. Looks great...works great... is there any reason to pay the typical $400 range for an LCD - am I missing something?

Any feedback would be appreciated - I bought it here - www.pricewatch.com - click on monitors - click on 15" LCD's.

Visual quality, pixel response time, brightness, contrasts all play a vital role in LCD. Cheap ones usually suck in those areas above and produce garbage washed out pictures. So cheap does not mean good.
