Question LCD not displaying after installing new GPU

I installed a new gpu. And using a DP to VGA converter for old LCD. When the pc starts, after the windows logo the LCD says cable not connected. I restart the PC and it works fine. This happens always. Help 😔

Do you have the correct drivers installed for the new gpu?
