LCD Questions

Hi,

I am planning to buy a 19 inch lcd, mainly to be used for gaming and photo editing. My questions are:

1. DVI vs analogue, is there much difference?
2. 700:1 vs 1400:1 contrast ratio, is it noticeable?
3. Wide-screen or normal?
4. 12ms vs 8ms response time, is it noticeable?

I am also trying to choose a monitor for gaming. If you are going to be gaming, I would recommend 8ms response time or less. It seems that 8ms is the standard in most monitors today, and less than 8ms monitors are often described as 'ghost free'.

I am also trying to decide between a wide 19 or normal, since I hear normal 19 has actually more surface area, but then if you think about peripheral vision for games, wide is better, so I dunno....

Whats the price of that monitor? Is is 179 as it is on newegg. If thats the case, id rather go with something else, if you look around newegg and tigerdirect, you can get 19" wide and 19" with faster response times for about the same price, and even less.
