[SOLVED] LCD screen connector compatible?

Hi,
So I need to replace a screen and I had an old laptop with a fried mobo. Screen size and quantity of pins are the same (apparently).
But I see the connectors to the mobo are different.
Can anyone please tell me if these are compatible in any way?

If the connectors are different, then they are different.

Old laptops usually use LVDS cables (low voltage but limited bandwidth and screen resolution) while newer laptops use EDP cables (higher screen resolution and bandwidth).
