leadtek gf2-gts chrontel tv out and drivers

I have been testing a lot of the N'vidia drivers for my 32 mb leadtek gf2-gts w\chrontel chip tv out .. the card shipped with a much earlier driver than the 6.50 (6.17 I think)I use now.. alas all of the newer drivers I have installed dont see the tv chip and consequently the selection box is grayed out and useless.. I have TVCC but havent actually tried it yet.. my question is this .. anyway to re-enable the chrontel chip in the winfast sofware and still use the later drivers ?? a registry edit of some kind perhaps ??

I have the same card and I'm using the 6.50 drivers and the TV out works ok. The only problem I have is that when I go to TV mode I loose my monitor picture, I can only one or the other.
