League patcher is throttling all other processes.

everytime I run something like the league of legends client and it needs a patch it seems to throttle everything else that im trying to do. For instance Im not really able to search for anything in any browser. When I tried to pull up this page and type this question in the textbox while the client was patching words would lag and not appear for 10+ seconds later.

This is a brand new MSI laptop the GF63 8RC so given it's specs Im not really sure why this is occurring. I've never had something happen like this on lower quality machines.

In Task Manager, what processes/applications are eating up your system resources when this behavior occurs?

Have you scanned this system for malware/viruses lately?

Are all of your games/apps from legit sources?

Theres no malware but its done this since it came out of the box. Seems to do the same thing when windows update was running when i first booted it up.
