News Leaker: Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti May Offer RTX 3070 Performance

Not leaving much wiggle room. With 3060Ti sitting at $400 and cheap 3070 sitting at $570 a sub $500 4060Ti would make things weird unless it underperforms the 3070 a little.

It will either force price reduction or those 30 series cards are going to sit.

So NVIDIA technically offering us 4060Ti = 3060Ti +10%. Nope, nope, nope. I don't need that 160W TDP. Make it 220W and make it trade blow with at least 3070ti. Even 3060ti is better than 2080S and with some OC on custom AIBs, you can reach stock 3070 level in exchange for a little bit more heat and power consumption I guess.
3060Ti seems to be another 1080ti situation. It is too good to be at that price range and 256-bit bus for an x60 card is a mistake (for NVIDIA). And 4060 non-Ti gonna be like 1060 3GB and 6GB situation, where 6GB is 4060ti and 3GB is 4060 in terms of core count, or maybe worse, no 4050 at all, 4060 96-bit and kill x50 series just like non-existent 2050.

Prices will be insane. I am guessing the 4070 will be 699-750 while the 4060 Ti will be 650-699. 4060 likely be 575-650 Which will leave us with 500 dollar 4050's. I pray I am wrong but the way this cookie has been crumbling so far...likely my numbers are close to msrps.

If the 4070Ti takes on the 3090Ti, then then 4070 should take on the 3080Ti and the 4060Ti should take on the 3070Ti. The 4060 should take on the 3070.

If nVidia do that they are crazy, They will be bad but not that bad, even Jenson can't believe a 4050 at $500 would be viable. I think 70 will be $699, 60Ti at $599, 60 at $499 and 50 at $399. All still outrageous rip offs

What you mean is the 60Ti is actual value for money and that goes fundamentally against nVidia's current policy. I won't buy a card without 12GB of RAM at least now so that would limit me to 70 and up and no way I'm paying $700+, I will have to wait to see if nvidia come to their senses by the the time we reach 50 series. AMD and Intel should really be running riot here. A Decent $300-350 60 Class equivalent could take the mass market from nVidia entirely.

I truly hope your right. Heck maybe we'll get lucky and both be wrong and 4050's will only be $299 or less... sadly my gut tells me otherwise.

I've yet to be wrong this generation. There may be a couple models at $500, but the vast majority will be closer to $600

Funny thing is I hope your right. I am honestly worried your under shooting at 600 for the 4060 Ti. I still think 650-699 are possible with 679.99 being likely assuming 4070's drop at 699-750 range likely 729.99. Stoopid scary times for gpu prices any way you slice it.

i can definitely see rog strix versions hitting around the $650 mark for sure. Asus has been especially egregious with their pricing this generation.

That's not what you said. You said an MSRP of $600. Nvidia is not going to set the MSRP of a 4060Ti at $600. If I had to bet, I wouldn't even bet $500. It will be below that.

Nvidia didn't make an FE 4070 ti. What makes you think they will make an FE 4060 ti which are historically the msrp models? I still stand by $600 regardless of your arguing semantics

What are you talking about? You're the one arguing semantic. Every GPU Nvidia and AMD release have one official MSRP. There are no semantics here. It doesn't matter if Nvidia makes and FE model, that GPU still has an MSRP. The 4070Ti is $800, the 4080 is $1200, the 4090 is $1600. 7900XT is $900, the 7900XTX is $1000. When Nvidia announces the 4060Ti, they will announce ONE MSRP and it isn't going to be $600 or anywhere close to that.

You're missing the forest for the trees. Nvidia said the 3060 ti was $399 for the FE, yet partner models are still above $400. The same thing will apply with the 4060 ti. Nvidia will say whatever they're going to say and the models customers can actually buy will be around $600
