Leaving Assistant Manager responsible for training

Frankly I can't be bothered with the training side of the game.
A question though: obviously it depends on how good your assistant manager
is, but do they generally do a good job at training?
Can you realistically click the option and then never look at the Training
menu again?

I left assistant responsible for training and I noticed he never changes the
schedule (Quieroz, Man Utd). I modify it if I notice my team isn't doing
something good on the pitch, shooting for example. I wonder if he'll change
it during pre-season training.

Yeah, I think that seems the way to go. Ta!

Funnily enough, I've brought some new scouts and coaches in, but haven't
looked at what Assistants are out there.

More often than not, you can find coaches who are good enough to be
assistant managers!
