Leaving PC on

I recently just built a new pc, and was wondering if it's safe to leave my of on for a while as it installs some games on steam, or should I put it in sleep mode, ( though I don't know if it downloads in sleep mode)

If your just going to install some games on your PC then its totally fine to leave your PC on. However your games will not install if your computer goes to sleep. Here is more information about sleep:
