LED Fan Placement

So i was cleaning up my unit and I decided to put my fan above my case to act as the duster to my GPU but after ive done it i realize wouldnt the airflow from the fan contradict to the airflow of the CPU fan below it... now im afraid to try it out thats why its best to ask here first for opinions and if ive done it wrong ill place the led fans backthe way it used to be... thanks

Cold (intake) from front and/or bottom - Hot (exhaust) out from top and/or back.
Always make a smooth flow pattern. That means you can't put one fan blowing against another. If it's pushing into or above, it's fine.

Front, side, bottom blowing in, top and back blowing out that is the basic rule for fans.
