led lights what

Hey sorry for another post haha im adding a lot to my pc and rely on this site for the best information. I am looking to get LED lights, and cant stop looking at these two products.

a few questions

first, which one should I get?
second, how much power do these draw from my psu?
and third, are there any risks, like the lights burning up catching fire etc?

the ones needing a 12v ac power pack to controler the led are not a good unit. the controller would be the weak part that could fail. most led run low voltage from the power supply.

this controller fits inside the bays where i put the optical drive?
