LED-lit LCD vs LED-lit

In the process of purchasing a monitor for gaming. I would like some color vibrancy and whatnot. I'm looking at 2 monitors side by side. One being LED-lit and the other being a LED-lit LCD. Booth are 144hz 1ms response monitors and nearly both have 5 star/ egg reviews. What's the call here guys? Should i sacrifice the 3 inches of display space?

Both are lcd with led backlights. I personally wouldnt get a 27" @1080p, if you are only sitting a couple feet away they dont look good imho as they have bigger pixels.

I sit about 2ft away, so that's no good? I'm sitting like 2 ft away from a 32" TV that i'm substituting as a monitor and it's 1080p. Would it make that big of a difference to me you think?

does any of your stores like bestbuy have those monitors so you can actually see personally with your own eyes what the picture on the screen looks like?

Sadly no, I'm just basing my order off of the reviews of others at this point, and the contrast ratios and whatnot

If you can sit that close to a 32" 1080p screen and it looks ok then 27 will probably be ok.
