Hi I have a 1080p monitor connected via VGA to a AMD GPU and the colors seem washed out, especially the Blacks are very grey. But on the monitors menu the blacks and colors are perfect.
Does anyone have a solution?

How would I find out which one is the cause?

You change one thing at a time and test it.

I would start with the gamma setting.

Here is how you change that within Windows 10.

The monitor only has vga input and im using a dvi to vga adapter. I know its not that because i used that on my other monitor and it worked fine.

I know a D-Sub is capable of going larger than 1080p but the PC can't always pick up what is connected to it and uses Generic drivers which can cause issues. Sometimes the adapters themselves can also cause issues, I had to go through 3 to find one that would do HDMI to VGA for my sons Kano "Raspberry Pi"

So your saying that the cable is the issue? Or the actual VGA port?
Because i'm certain that its not the cable as it worked fine on a different monitor.
