LED or 3d

going to buy a Samsung 27" S27B750V

was wondering if a 3d monitor would be a better choice(Samsung S23A700D LED 3D)..

mainly gaming and movies..

I personally like 3D a lot, but find 3D Vision has some big advantages. The biggest one is actually a mod community that has fixed many games to work near perfectly in 3D that normally don't work well.

The 3D monitor you are looking at is HD3D and only useable for AMD system. It still may work nicely for the games that do support 3D, but there are a lot of games that don't and would benefit from modding community.
