Question LED Power Supply Fails When Plugged In

I bought a new Optonica LED driver to power a 5 meter long led strip. I put the 220v cables in and turned the screws tightly. When I plug it in, the power in my house goes off due to a possible short circuit.

Any I ideas of what could probably go wrong ?

I would expect a short circuit.

This power supply?

How did you determine which wire (red or brown) goes to which screw?

I do not see any markings on the LED driver box to indicate what connections go where.

Do you have an Installation Manual/Guide. Reference link?

Based on some of the diagrams I found it appears to me that you may be connecting the incoming voltage (220) into what should be the LED 12v out connections.

Overall most of the products I looked at seemed to have the incoming power connections on the left side - not the right.

Caveats being that: 1) there is some standardization for such power supplies, and 2) I looked at the applicable power supply products.
